What I had read is that the bridge had been taken off its abutments and placed on the south side of the road for repairs to begin in 2011. It is now 2014, and while there has been some work done, it is certainly does not look like a current repair site. interesting just the same, and Oh My what a beautiful bridge and one of the Best spots, the river is beautiful! I hope it is repaired soon, however it is fun to see it at this stage and able to examine the construction and destruction up close.
