The Pittsburg Clarksville Bridge over the Connecticut River is the northernmost crossing over the river. It has a sign on it that says Bacon Bridge, so while the state has it listed as the Pittsburg Clarksville bridge, I will use the name Bacon. Not used by cars any longer this poor bridge is in terrible dis repair, and doesn't seem safe any longer. The deck and trusses are warped with pieces missing or no longer connected. It takes no more than foot traffic and snow machines. It is in a beautiful spot, and is a delightful Picturesque location. It is #34 on the states list of covered bridges and you can find more information on the bridge here: http://www.nh.gov/nhdhr/bridges/p65.html
